I was working in Melbourne this week, and I had such a hectic time, the only chance to pick up the camera was in my room ! Luckily I had a lovely outlook over the Yarra River, which provided some early morning & late night photo opportunities! This is South Bank near the casino - and the 'flames' perform a choreographed light show every 30 minutes.
Had no tripod, so I had to rest the camera on the window sill & use the timer.
