MOVE: "Change or cause to change from one state, opinion, sphere, or activity to another."
I saw this technique in a magazine and I learnt some more about processing along the way... My first attempt at something like this, and there are some parts I am happy with, some that need a 'bit more practice' and some I am just itching to re-do now it has been uploaded.!! :D

I have been processing shots for the last few days, rather than taking new shots. I have not been feeling like taking photos much because after leaving the skateboard park I went to Black Mountain to photograph some native orchids, and spent an hour looking in the bush for my glasses after I dropped them. Finally found them, (no photos) and returned to the carpark to find someone had 'generously' used a crowbar in a failed attempt to jemmie open my car. :(
I don't understand this sense of entitlement to other people's property. But understand it or not, the reality is - there are people who see the world differently. Like the 'touch of fantasy' in the above shot, people don't always 'stay within the boundaries'.
Where at Black Mountain where you parked, up at the tower? It is good that they didn't actually get in, and like you I can't understand this type of behaviour and it amazes me that this happened at Black Mountain, wow! Touch wood, I haven't ever had this happen to me :)
This is awesome processing once again
What a stressful day at Black Mountain, glad you found your glasses, the crowbar would have made a mess of your car
@jenrobcarr - sadly is has - been a 'bummer' of a week all round. I got home that afternoon and the strap of my new handbag broke as I got out of the car .... But..... I am moving on... :)
This is soooo cool! I don't know how you did it, but what ever you did, I love the effect! Sorry to hear someone tried to break into your car! That is a bummer! Glad they didn't get anything and that your okay.
What a terrible story Lyn...especially your damaged car. I love the editing you've done with this shot. So professional and intriguing. Great technique.
Oh Gosh Lyn, what a horrid day you had :( Really sory to hear of the incident with your glasses, and the vandle with your car.. some people.. Just makes you angry at times. Sending you a hug.. Your processing with this shot is stunning.. I would love to learn this at some stage when i have some more time. I hope you are feeling a bit happier x
