After a long wait I finally recieved my off-camera speedlight wireless remote today. The included instructions seem to be a Google Translation of a long-dead language !
It took me ages to get the flash to even fire, pushing all the buttons endlessley......then finally great joy....
It was a bit confusing at first, so let's be happy with this shot. :D
Glad to hear that it finally worked. I'm thinking of getting a speedlite in the near future. Should I be looking into a remote control? It's never ending....
@aspada it is never ending! I don't think the 5D has an inbuilt remote trigger either, but yes - I really love the 430EX speedlight I bought - great range and auto exposure, but still reasonably light & small to carry around. I bought a combined remote flash and camera wireless trigger & it will be a really useful addition to the kit.
I have a new flash that looks complicated etc and rather scary... One day I will read the instructions and learn how to use it lol Gorgeous shot.. I know how you feel x
