Celebrities have featured in (tobacco) trading cards since 1875, although I don't recall ever collecting them during my lifetime. Cards with footballers have always been popular, but I guess each decade is marked by a particular 'fad' collection - my children certainly went crazy over Pokemon cards for a while.
I have no idea if this really does look like a trading card, but I learnt some more processing, and with work at fever pitch this week, it is quiet and peaceful processing tonight, and I have enjoyed the downtime.
