walk away

This week's Get-Pushed challenge buddy @la_photographic asked that I do some street photography. With almost a year since my first street photography shot ( http://365project.org/ltodd/extras/2011-08-26), it was a fair challenge - perhaps made more difficult by the below zero temperatures this week, and working in an office that has a 180 degree view of bushland. Nobody here, (photographers included!) chooses to dally in the streets unnecessarily in the middle of winter, which is why..... there was not a whole lot of action in the Kingston restaurant precinct when I visited during my lunch break. :D

I (sometimes) wish I worked in the city so I could take more street shots.

If you think you are too timid for street photography, I can tell you it is actually a fantastic, and surprisingly rewarding experience if you undertake it respectfully. My shots from last year are at:
