My get-pushed challenge of 'reflection' was set by @colorfade. I thought of many different meanings for the word, but here I have chosen a quite traditional interpretation - this is the Cape Bowling Green lighthouse in Sydney Harbour.
The Get-pushed challenge is a wonderful way to get to know new people, really study their photographic work, and then reflect on my own approach.
@colorfade - Andrea I have also tried to also incorporate some of your favourite colour tones. Thankyou for an interesting challenge, I learnt a lot from looking through your wonderful shots.
I was hoping you'd go with the traditional interpretation! I absolutely love it. You did an amazing job and such fantastic subject choice! Add some beautiful editing and it's a killer shot. But I had a feeling you'd knock this out of the ball park. Now, for my apology. As much as your challenge for me completely excited me ( I couldn't wait to shoot it and had a number of shots in mind), I just never got around to it this week :( Simply not enough hours in my day to set up a shot and get it done. I think I'll still aim to photograph to your challenge when the time permits though. Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to come up with a great idea..... And once again, well done on this photo... Hoping you make it to voting round! :)
@automaticslim correctly spotted - it is inverted :) I also took one with a shag swimming through the middle of the lighthouse, but unfortunately it just looked 'odd' when viewed out of context, and the smooth water pattern was quite disturbed.
