Here I am lying flat on the floor and shooting straight into the sun and full length glass windows of the National Mint cafe. Lessons learnt-- a portrait of a moving baby needs a deeper DOF than normal, and getting focus, composition and lighting correct at the same time as an adorable (but fleeting) pose/smile from a baby requires a lot of shots and patience.....
....maybe my shot tomorrow will be a 'still life' that does not wriggle around quite so much !! :))
(P.S. > How absolutely cute is my colleague's baby girl????)
Lovely work. LOL, can't imagine you laying out across the floor like that in such a public place. Mind you, that light and full glass wall is definitely worth taking advantage of. :)
@aurorajane I think I have been in even weirder predicaments to get a 365 image!! The looks I got from the schoolchildren in the tour groups stepping over me were quite funny!
Absolutely a great shot! I've done this a couple of times with the grandkids and it does take lots of shots - squirmy little buggers for sure, and lighting is a pain. Love it! Fav!
