@kate13th thanks Kate - it was only when I uploaded my shots I realised I had been confused by thinking of the 'ons brief' as monochrome, rather than an interaction between colours, & that I had just taken shots of a single red leaf against the blue sky. This crop was an attempt to remedy that the best I could. As usual, I hope I have learnt from my mistakes though .... :)
