eau de nil by ltodd

eau de nil

Another background replaced with one created using a photo from an early morning fog shoot down at the lake. I have taken thousands of images since starting 365, so it actually feels great to do something useful and recycle some of the 'rejects' that did not make the shot of the day at the time.
The best part of working on this image was finally understanding and (almost) using luminosity masking. The white tail feathers were a headache to work with, but the luminosity masking helped after many false starts. I cant wait to try using them on some architecture.
