dream without bounds

I have been asked to provide some surreal images for a children's sporting venue. I don't think the type of editing I usually do relates particularly to young children, and have really struggled to create imagery that is interesting, positive, cheerful, and will inspire them to participate in and enjoy the centres activities.

Come on my wonderful 365 buddies - can you help me with some suggestions/ ideas??? I have spent so long on this, I feel I am the one going in circles...
This is fantastic!! Perfect for the requirement too. Great job. What about a trampolining one where they are bouncing up high with some birds and butterflies? In the meantime, this gets a big fav from me.

This is wonderfully whimsical :)

I wouldn't have a clue where to start for an assignment like this... But your elegant gents would, I think, look fab on a skating rink!

Nicely done, but this girl is too old if it is children's sporting venue.

Nailed it with this one! Most excellent Lyn I haven't a clue what to suggest for you though. I am certain you will come up with more delightful images.

This is so fun Lyn. The colours you chose are perfect. What was the brief? What other activities does the centre do? Have you thought about bubbles? Kids always love bubbles. Maybe some ribbons (think gymnastics) and some old fashioned racing cars that those gents would look good zooming around in.

I like the whimsey in this. Not sure how to provide advice as you seem to be on it already!

I think this is rather cool. I like your use of colours, that are very much in harmony with each other. Great challenge to get out of the usual mood.

This is really well done Lyn.

Do they have a climbing wall? .... maybe a Spiderman theme climbing
Trampolines: .... Peter Pan, or kids holding onto Balloons, and floating up into the sky.
Gymnastics:..... Jungle theme, with kids swinging through the trees, jumping across a creek, balancing on tree trunks cartwheeling through the forest, (an underwater theme could work for this too)

This is very lovely and very well done!! My imagination is limited, I'm afraid - although playing basketball with the moon comes to mind... :)

I'm just seeing this, so you've probably finished this project already. But if not, my grandkids always love seeing themselves in the stars or on the moon. Depending on what other activities there are I'm sure there's something that would fit with that. This is fabulous- and very inspiring. I think anything with adventure, courage (facing your fears by trying something new or out of your comfort zone- such as a rock climbing wall), and discovery are good themes to bring out. And anything that encourages kids to put down the iPhone and get moving.
