Feather by maggie2

Feather

I seen the most beautiful milkweed pod and took a picture. Went home, downloaded it, and it was a feather. Time to change my glasses.
Thanks for all the kind words on yesterdays bird shot.

March 18th, 2011
You nailed the focus, too! There are different types of vision ;
March 18th, 2011
Now that is funny. I am sure it was the light that fooled you! the feather is lovelier than any milkweed pod. Do you know the bird?
March 18th, 2011
@wac Wendy I don't. My nephew was with me and asked me if I I wanted it. I said no, thinking it was a milkweed. I usually collect feathers and study them for painting. So, since this was taken at the zoo, but outdoors, I'm not sure.

@pacole I can't imagine how I did. I really thought it was a milkweed. I was thrilled when I got home and seen what it was. But what a different pattern. I've never seen a feather like this.

March 18th, 2011

March 18th, 2011
Isn't it early for fuzzy milkweed? Your confusion after first uploading this to your computer would've been awesome to behold. Still a great photo. Most of my misspellings are because 1. I can't type and 2. if I can't type w/o looking, why do I think I can type w/o my glasses. :-) I can relate.
March 18th, 2011
LOL! this is great!!!
March 18th, 2011
