Strange tree stuff.

The fungus on this stump was so colorful I had to take a picture.
I thought of Pyrrhula who puts excellent shots of fungus and mushrooms. It's nice to meet people on here that we think of throughout the day, although we have never really met.

This is really nice. Hard to take a good picture of fungus and you did it very well. It reminds me of the bottles we used to make. You put in layers of different colored sands and make it look like a mosaic.

Interesting colors ! Most of the tree fungus around here are shades of brown and gray. It would make a cool painting...and I'd be framing this !
