Now where is she. by maggie2

Now where is she.

The deer were visiting my back yard. They could hear me, but couldn't figure out where I was. I climbed out my bedroom window and was standing on the roof of my house. I think I frighten my neighbors. :-)
How cute!! Nice capture!

Wow, we'll do anything to get the shot! Lucky you to have such awesome wildlife in your garden!
March 23rd, 2011
lol, well your neighbors may have spotted you but at least the deer didn't and you got an excellent opportunity to photograph them. Nice.
March 23rd, 2011
Lovely capture. How sweet they are.
March 23rd, 2011

March 23rd, 2011
Haha! Anything for the shot! Brilliantly captured, true spring right there with the fawn...faun? Why do I not know how to spell it...yeesh!
March 23rd, 2011
You're so brave roof climber! Great shot! It's so hard to believe that you have so beautiful neighbors!

March 23rd, 2011
That is too funny. You actually climbed out the window and stood on the roof. Too funny. Great shot so i am sure it was well worth the effort. I always figure I spice up my neighbors boring lives. ;-)
March 23rd, 2011
Lovely! They are so cute (:
March 23rd, 2011
this is great!!!!
March 23rd, 2011
Yep. You'd frighten me standing on your roof. I get scared when I see people standing on their roofs. I like the results though.
March 23rd, 2011
Awee cute shot! Love it!
March 23rd, 2011

Haha! You're so dedicated! Lovely shot!
March 23rd, 2011
@timandelke Dedicated or foolish. :-)
March 23rd, 2011
Take good care on the roof. Gives a marvelous beautiful pic but not worth a accident
March 23rd, 2011
I gree with Pyrrhula...nice but not worth breaking your legs or worse. I know from my husband's experience..he fell of a roof and broke one leg and on the other the heel in 3 places.....
March 23rd, 2011
@pyrrhula @bruni Thank you for your concern. I am very safe. I step out on the roof and it is nearly flat, not high and I am afraid of heights, so I don't go anywhere near the edge. I am sorry to worry you and am touched by your concern.
March 23rd, 2011
I thank everyone for your concern. I really am a little crazy, but also very careful.
March 23rd, 2011
So nice and I love the way their color blends in with the background.
March 23rd, 2011
Fabulous Maggie
March 23rd, 2011
Wow, on the roof! Be careful out there! Beautiful photo.
March 23rd, 2011
Worth your effort - great shot!
March 23rd, 2011
Great photo! Those look like the grayish brown type that we see in our yard. :-) The lengths we go to....
March 23rd, 2011
wonderful capture! your risk paid off! I love all the shades of brown with a few hints of green.
March 24th, 2011
Great capture of the deer. Don't fall off your roof.
March 24th, 2011
You daredevil! What 365-ers will do for their art! A great shot, BTW
March 24th, 2011
I want them. :) they are adorable. So, quick question: do the lions and tigers hang out in your back yard too?! :) I've always wondered where you get those shots! They are off the charts fantastic!
March 24th, 2011
I wonderf what your neighbors thought. But you are probably inthe woods with no one nearby
March 24th, 2011
These guys definitely look perplexed. Yes, standing on one's roof with a camera will get the neighbors attention. Very cute photo!
March 24th, 2011
Your caption is cracking me up! I love this photo so much! Fav!
March 24th, 2011
the things we do for a perfect photo!! :) definitely worth it--this is beautiful!
March 24th, 2011
Great shot! I love watching deer.
March 24th, 2011
Oh, such a fun story and shot!!! I like it!!!
March 24th, 2011
What great visitors to have in your garden! They do look a little puzzled :)
March 24th, 2011
Oh, that's so hilarious! I mean the thought of what you went through to get this shot. Wonderful! And a great shot, too, with a great caption.
March 24th, 2011
This is a great shot. I like all the earth colors and life in your subjects. Very Nice!
March 24th, 2011
great capture
March 24th, 2011
What a great shot . . . the lengths we will go to! I love when the deer visit, but my dog is a bit of a deterrent!
March 24th, 2011
@lynnmwatson Lynn, my dogs are used to the deer. The oldest dog takes his basketball and sits near the deer (he's in a pen) and hopes they will play.
March 24th, 2011
@maggie2 LOL . . . my dog wants to play with them too, but he expresses it by running toward them at full speed!
March 24th, 2011
Great picture, they look so alert trying to figure out what they heard. But I got to tell you that thinking about you climbing out your bedroom window and standing on the roof had me laughing.
March 24th, 2011
Beautiful shot - they are so sweet... I love that you climbed out the window and on to the roof!!!
March 25th, 2011
sweet
March 25th, 2011
A little teary - Sobbed my heart out over Bambi and this bought it instantly to mind
March 27th, 2011
Amazing shot! I can't believe you climbed out your window to the roof! That is awesome!
March 28th, 2011
@glyn Aw...I didn't want it to make anyone feel teary. The Bambi's in my yard get fed and can sleep in the back woods safely and the bonus is I will take portraits of them and their family for free. :-)
March 28th, 2011
Great shot!
March 30th, 2011
Good one, M! Un-frightenable neighbours just aren't worth having in my opinion! ;-)
April 4th, 2011
great shot and worth the effort!!
April 4th, 2011
@tabbycat I agree. LOL
