These young boys were very happy that they could dance right down the middle of the street, but most of them were a little nervous about the policeman standing right in front of them . The policeman's job was to stop traffic to allow the parade to come through. The boys jumped ahead of the parade. You can see the one boy who wasn't the slightest bit afraid of the police. The policeman stood with a very straight face, and as the boys separated and danced past the cop, he said in very deep voice.....you're out of step boys. At that, the policeman and the kids all laughed. He then said....go have fun boys.
Very impressionable age...I loved the interaction.
Very cute photo. I am glad they ahd fun with the officer. Thx for the nice comments. Re: the dog photos of Shyla - I was reminded of my dog Mackie and what we went through last year when he had to be put down. To add salt to the wound I watched Marley and Me last night while I ironed! that brought on the tears. I feel great about taking the photos for the neighbors. They will love having them and yes she was well loved her entire life.
The picture is great on its own, but so enhanced by the story. What a cool policeman. That boisterous boy with no fear is gonna be trouble. Look how the other three look up to him. Human beings are so interesting.
