My favorite outhouse. by maggie2

My favorite outhouse.

I see something has burrowed underneath the side of it. I'm not opening the door, but I wish someone else would to let me know who wants to live in an outhouse. :-)
I guess living in an outhouse is better then being outside in the cold.

Beautiful shot! Could almost be a painting. Love it!

A great photo, and I guess it is warmer than being out in the open.

Terrific Capture! Now that's a good place for a woodchuck to live! There was one under my garden shed - maybe he likes his new accommodations! Like the winter scene and the ole way of life! Excellent, Maggie!
February 14th, 2012
@poophappens LOL I should have known you would like it. :-)
February 14th, 2012
@kbuehl Kathy, that was my guess too.
February 14th, 2012
Pretty winter scene. I have a strange fascination with outhouses. We had 'someone' burrow/chew into the one at out camp, someone of rodent decent.
February 14th, 2012
I think I'd give the outhouse up to whatever decides that's a great place to live! Beautiful shot of your little outhouse:)
February 14th, 2012
Great shot and a haven for wildlife!
February 14th, 2012
OUTSTANDINGLY AMAZING MAGGIE!
February 14th, 2012
@pwallis It belongs to the wildlife. This is an outhouse I found out in the woods. I have to have an indoor pot. :-) I'm spoiled like that.
February 14th, 2012
Oh I really like this!
February 14th, 2012

February 15th, 2012

we've still had next to no snow but looks like you have some!
February 16th, 2012
@tabbycat , your comment made me chuckle...LOL
February 16th, 2012
@paulaag Hehee..Maggie's squirrely guys make me chuckle! :-D
Which raises an interesting point! Where DO squirrels live in the winter? Surely not in trees? Do they burrow?
February 16th, 2012
wow I wonder who has taken residence there! You certainly are experiencing heaps of snow
February 16th, 2012
@tabbycat Tabitha, they have these nests in the trees made of leafs and sticks. I'll get a picture of one. They also burrow into any opening they find and makes nests. I had one in my woodshed and one in my attic area that had to be moved out. I love a squirrel with a seedy side. :-) Looks like a woodchuck though.
February 16th, 2012
@paulaag Paula, we've had so little snow it's amazing. A few inches then it warms up and we loose it.
February 16th, 2012
@jenrobcarr Jennifer, we have had very little snow for our area. We live in a snowbelt and usually are buried in snow. This year is so different.
February 16th, 2012
I have to admit...I have an outhouse collection too!
February 16th, 2012
@maggie2 Ooh, how cool! I cant wait to see a squirrely guy's (or girl's!) home!
February 16th, 2012

February 22nd, 2012
Ahhh, you "sissy britches", go on and open the door - camera-ready of course. LOL Nice shot Maggie, and in weather like that, it makes me all the more grateful that we've vastly improved on this neccessity. :-) Take care now, Les x
