I took this photo from the car, just as I came up to the toll gates... Moments after this was taken, I was paying £5.50 to cross over the River Severn, and enter Monmouthshire, and Wales!
I drove from Norwich to Swansea today (pretty much the width of the UK) in my car, while my dad and my grandmother drove together in Grandie's car... Grandie lives in Wales, and she was finally going home today, having stayed with us in Norfolk for several weeks following her hip replacement operation... (I'm sure I've mentioned all this before!) Tomorrow morning, my dad and I will travel back across the country, both together in my car... Plenty of driving over one weekend - although I'm fairly used to that, from work!
