The house just across the road from mine has a large cherry tree in the front garden... It's been pretty windy (and rainy!) for the last few days, now, and much of the blossom has now blown off the tree, and is strewn across the pavement... Took a picture just as I left for work today...
And, y'know - it kinda does! Wouldn't have thought of that if somebody else hadn't mentioned it, though...
