Patridge + chicks

An adult partridge, with some of its babies (that was about half the brood of chicks) on my neighbour's drive...

AWWWHHHHH -- they are sooo cute. I have only seen baby patridges twice in my whole life. You are sooooo lucky to have seen them.

They were incredible! My guitarist spotted them just as he turned up for a rehearsal, and he and the bassist and I spent a good fifteen minutes watching them, and taking some photos!
