Oh my hubby HATES these also, he has a rant every time we go shopping, he thinks we should get our shopping cheaper for scanning it ourself! **grrrr** lol, I personally dont mind using them, but I do hate it in ASDA when it goes "unexpected item in bagging area" Ummm yeah! thats my hand trying to pack my bags lol!!!!!
I don't mind the Tesco self service machines too much, especially the current-gen ones like this, but what annoys me is when it randomly decides it needs some intervention from a human being, usually for something as controversial as a pot of jam.
