A47

This exposure is just three seconds shy of three minutes. I think that's the longest exposure photograph I've ever posted here.

Holding the shutter button down for three minutes in this weather (it was 2° outside) was most uncomfortable!

So - here are some lights! I hope you enjoy them.

(Focus is slightly off, because I was trying to do it in manual focus mode, but you can only really tell if you view large. So, err, don't do that.)
Awesome

Nice job on that, despite the cold. What was your previous longest exposure?

@michellina
Exposure is the length of time for which the shutter of your camera is open, and letting in light. The longer the exposure time, the more light is being let into the camera - hence you can end up with "light trails", like in this shot.

@peterdegraaff
haha, yep! Lots of people hurrying home from work. (In both directions!)

@lostwaveitb
Yes - it's very gratifying, after getting that cold, to see that people seem to like this!

@cazink
The A47 curves at that point, so that it doesn't go ploughing straight through the middle of Blofield village. How considerate of it, don't you think? ;)

@pocketmouse, @carkit
Thank you!

@manek43509 ha yeah probably that considerate only because the people building the motorway couldn't buy and demolish that particular village :D
