Carwood Lane Footpath stone

The ancient dry stone wall along this footpath was rebuilt by volunteers in 2002 in just 11 days. The first stone, now fairly hidden, was carved with the year and a bell, representing local Councillor Eric Bell, who later became Mayor of Chorley.
