Work of Love

This quilt belongs to our son and is one of 11 quilts my Mom made for her grandchildren. The picture really does not do it justice, but if you look closely you will see the hand-quilted pictures in the muslin squares, each representing something about Jeff (e.g. baseball cards, athletic tape/scissors, his first computer, trip to Oahu, etc.) polished off with the WSU logo border. The multi-colored fabrics are all scraps from pj's that Mom made for him. Each grandchild's quilt is a little different, but they all have pieces of fabric in them that are leftover from clothing she made them and they all have hand-quilted "pictures" that reflect things about each of them and they all truly are works of love!
WOW... couldn't be more special!
