I almost missed the beautiful green "rolling hills of The Palouse" (as they are described in nearly every article about the Palouse)! I noticed today that many of them are starting to turn so I decided I better get a shot while they are still green. I really like that you can see the "waves" the wind is creating... one of my favorite sights when the fields are fully grown. Now I can hardly wait until they ripen and become "amber waves of grain!"
