The National Lentil Festival in Pullman, Washington has many of the typical community "festival" events such as merchandise, food, game and community information/"freebie" booths; a parade; live music and a beer garden... but the thing that sets it apart is this enormous pot of lentil chili. Volunteers prepare and serve this flavorsome fare, which is free to everyone attending the festival... many of whom come back for a second or third or fourth bowl!
@hagscat@grammyn Thanks, ladies! It is pretty good chili. Carin, you will have to figure out the amounts of the ingredients since they failed to give out that information... and if they did, who really wants that much chili anyway?!
