We are big Cougar football fans, but when we stepped out the door to go to Pullman tonight I thought, "Seriously? We are going to go to an outdoor stadium to sit in this and watch a team that has been playing less than inspired football?! Are we nuts?!" Apparently we are, because we went. :) And there were a couple of things that made it all worth it... #1 see: http://365project.org/marilyn/theme-challenge and #2 see: http://365project.org/marilyn/fun-fotos/2011-11-12
@djl Is that one of southern "bless your hearts?" You know, where you can say whatever you want to about someone as long as you say "bless your heart?" As in.... You are an idiot... bless your heart!"
@grammyn Thanks... Yes it was kind of sparse, especially for Dad's Weekend, but partly I'm sure due to weather and the fact that they have not been playing well. :)
@twinsplusone Well, it was a lot for our first snow and I was totally unprepared for the amount. I heard we were expecting snow, but had not heard it was going to be a winter storm warning!
@heidievans73 Thanks... Yes it is sickness, and apparently I have it, too, because my daughter and I went right along with him... bundled to the hilt, but we went.
Wow, it's really snowing there!!
Do you live in the mountains or is this in the valley? I used to live near Everett, in Lake Stevens, when I was a kid and we had a plot of property in Wenatchee where we camped in our little trailer a lot!
@2thgirl We live on the eastern edge of the state about halfway between Pullman and Spokane. Fortunately, the snow didn't last too long and was pretty much gone in the morning... still cold, but very little snow left. :)
OMG!!! you are completely nuts lol, I love snow but am so hoping we do not get this year, in the park last year it was 2 feet deep, I know only a little shower lol but it lasted for about 2 months. The schools closed, the roads came to a stand still.... our country has no idea how to cope with snow. Hope you are keeping warm and up-right :-)
@hagscat I know... as Lennon's Mom said above... it is a sickness! We just have a few small piles left in the yrd, but are expecting some fresh snow over the next few days. I hope we just get it a few inches at a time, as it then gets off the road before more comes along... I can handle that much better! :)
