We went to the Cougar basketball game last night (they won!) and I was very impressed with the halftime "entertainment." Each student athlete who has maintained a 3.0 or higher GPA throughout the past 2 semesters (1 semester for freshmen) was individually introduced and each received an award with the "Excellence in Academics" insignia. Pretty good representation of the focus on "student" rather than "athlete!"
