Nice capture. Especially with the new one in the background. There is a lot of character to it and a little sadness. It is really huge! I like the B&W for it as well.

@deburahiru Thanks... I almost posted it in color and then decided to see what B&W would do for it and I ended up liking it so much better.

@grammyn Thanks for your great comments... I love that you called the one in the background new! It is most definitely not new... just "newer." I always feel a little sad when I see old barns, houses and other buildings that fall apart from old age... maybe it's because I am starting to identify with them! :)

@marilyn I know it is becoming an identity problem for me!

Marilyn! This is a surprise in that it is such a moody shot; different for you. I love the B&W and I have to fav! :)

@elizabeth264 Thanks for the fav! I do break away from humor and bright color occasionally! :)

Great job with this one, Marilyn! It's got a "ghost town" feel~ my sixth graders could get their imaginations going with this one... I can't imagine all the stories they'd come up with about things that happened in there! :)

@peterdegraaff Thanks... it is definitely a common sight around my neck of the woods! :)

@wheatfarmer5 Thanks, Jullie... feel free to use it if you are looking for some good ghost stories! :) I think this is in the Diamond area... I know it's somewhere between Colfax and Endicott! :)
