The state basketball tournament started today, and though our school isn't in it, there are some other local teams I am cheering for. Marvin works at the tournament so I like to go along with him, but today I opted to stay home and get some extra rest to try to shake my cold, round2. I discovered this online play-by-play so I could keep up with the game on my iPad, but it is definitely not the same as being there! PS... the team I was rooting for won! :)
What a cool thing to discover! I love the energy at the games. My boys are really getting into them now and I think I have more fun cheering for them than they do playing!
@hjbenson It took me a few minutes to figure out how it worked, but once I did it was pretty easy and the page auto-refreshed every minute or so, so it did a good job of keeping up with the action. Still... I will enjoy it so much more tomorrow when I am at the tournament. :)
@mstipe I am a huge sports fan and loved it when my kids played... and when my husband coached... and still love watching "my" kids from school... and the kids from the other schools in the area!
@debsphotos Thanks, Debbie... Still home today, though I am better. I am trying to get really well so I can be at the hospital with my friend on Tuesday when her husband has back surgery. And finding things online is kind of my thing... :)
