All-school Science Fair today! (The High School projects are on the far table where the label doesn't show.) I helped judge some of the 6th and 7th grade projects and they were mostly very good. Way to go, kiddos! :)
@hjbenson The kids and the science teacher have put many hours into this... but I believe the results are well worth the time invested... and I think the parents and community members who come tonight will agree.
@grammyn Thanks... I had a hard time trying to figure out how to get the most entries in one shot. I could have done a collage, I suppose, but I am feeling kind of lazy today... :)
@marilyn I really like this . I know you probably didn't get some of them in the shot but it looks very orderly this way as a science fair should look.
@mstipe I would be hard-pressed to pick a favorite because there were many good ones. I am constantly amazed at what kids do... and I mean on a good way! I think I was especially fond of a couple of different kids who actually had the same project of growing sugar candy crystals and determining if white or brown sugar worked best. Each of them has their own unique "obstacles" to overcome and I was pleasantly surprised how well they did their project and their oral presentation of it... it just warmed the cockles of my heart... :)
@peterdegraaff I think on of the big advantages of a small school is that we are able to do these kinds of activities and include all kids... in a large school there are just too many students to put on a Science Fair that includes projects from every student.
