I love my new Chuck Taylor Converse All★Stars! Thanks for the photo inspiration Deb! :) And I just found them on line in a few more colors... Hello, red... and white... and ??? :)
(I didn't think they were Chucks, but they are advertised as "Converse Chuck Taylor® All Star® Cut Away Sandals" so I guess they are!)
They make sandal versions, too, now? Awesome. I remember wearing those high-tops when I was in junior high, as that was when they made their first comeback. I went through 3 or 4 pairs (different color each time, of course) before the fad finally died. Loved those things!
@fonk My husband wore them for high school basketball... it was not the comeback, it was the original! Our son also wore them in high school (the comeback!) for basketball and for Prom his junior year – royal blue to match his date's dress! :)
