The Christmas Letter

Although I took a sabbatical last year one of my December activities is producing an annual Christmas letter and this afternoon I started in on the 2012 edition of "The Wigen Christmas Chronicle." Of course, since apparently nothing can be easy this year, I could not get Word to launch, so I had to open the previous letter in Appleworks and do a bit of reformatting to make it come out resembling the Word version. I will now finish it by updating the information for each of the news "categories" to make it current for this year. And even though it takes quite awhile, I really enjoy writing my Christmas letter every year because "creating" on the computer – whether it is making a newsletter, programs or certificates at school, maintaining the webpage for church and school, or editing photos and writing our Christmas newsletter – is something I love to do.
