Tonight I discovered why using the macro lens on my iPhone will not be the best plan for this challenge. It has a very limited field of focus (or whatever the proper photographical term for that is) so the edges quickly become out of focus. Or, perhaps I need to find a better subject... like something small and "solo" as opposed to an eye surrounded by fur. Also, she was not very cooperative while I was holding my phone literally in her face so I didn't get what I was hoping to.
I think this is going to be a month of learning for me... just when I was needing a month of easy, "no-brainer" shots! :)
I think you got a great shot of her lashes and lots of the macro shots look just like this. Focused in the center and blurry on the edges. What had you imagined?
