Autism Awareness April by marilyn

Autism Awareness April

This photo started out with me looking for a way to use the same photo I already used – http://365project.org/marilyn/theme-challenge/2014-04-02 – for another challenge, Abstract April.
When I finished my ETSOOI and was ready to name and save it, I was absolutely stunned by how perfect it was for Autism Awareness Day – a blue puzzle! I think I may have had a little guidance there because almost the entire time I was editing this was primarily bright yellow and red... I am so happy it turned out this way because I know many kids and families who are touched by autism.
This is fabulous on so many levels! the color. the use of the same photo, the disjointed feel it has which is how many autistic children perceive their world! Absolutely perfect for the day!
