Frosty Butte -- 1

The 2015: Extraordinary-4-January word today is Frosty. We passed by some beautiful frostiness on the way to church this morning, but we were running a little behind schedule so I didn't feel like we should stop. Unfortunately, by the time we headed back home much of the frost had disappeared from the fields, but I did manage to get a couple of decent frosty pics of one of my favorite subjects, Steptoe Butte, and one of a tree. I couldn't decide which one to use so I uploaded them all!

I think this is my favorite of the three! i like how the butte disappears into the sky and the detail of the frost on the higher elevations!

@grammyn Thanks... It's my favorite, too, but I hadn't really analyzed why. I just love the Butte and I like the way the fields wrap around it.

I just saw you on the favorite picture thread and thought, Hey! I know her! I did a project back in 2012 and have elected to take a Digital Photography class for college credit and thought while I was at it, I may as well post some of them here. Glad to see some old friends still here!
