The 2015: Extraordinary-4-January word today is Dress-up because today is Dress-up Your Pet Day. I am not a pet dresser, so I just took a pic of Maggie right after coming in from her potty break. I do believe in pet garments of necessity so Maggie wears a coat in the winter. I edited this photo quite a bit because I was not happy with the original.
Maggie also has a "motorcycle outfit." The 'Doggles' protect her eyes from wind and debris and the vest (which you cannot see in this pic) helps protect her from the wind even when she is all tucked into my jacket. My Pru wears a coat for winter walks also. She does suffer terribly from the cold. She's a large dog so would look a bit of a plonker if we dressed her up in froofroo frocks. Perhaps if she were a chihuahua she'd get away with it. I will upload a pick one day.
