LAST TREE STANDING by markp

LAST TREE STANDING

Walked up Gleann Einich today, totally spoilt for choice. This is about half way up, just 3 miles in, ( do the maths, 12 mile plus round trip, and thats just the walking bit) this is the last real tree, a few stunted bushes after it. The river is the Am Beanaldh, and the mountain in the background hiding in low cloud is Sgoran Dubh Mor, 1,111 metres, 3,645 feet high.
Almost like a painting - beautiful - love the soft water effect here and the lone tree just makes the scene.

@milaniet Thank you very much Milanie

@pflaume Thank you Lisa, it is a stunning place, the shot I wanted was when you get to the head of the glen there is a beautiful loch surrounded by huge sheer towering cliffs on three sides, about 600 feet high. However as usual when I take a good camera up there, there was low cloud which stops you seeing the tops, I will get it one day.

@beryl Thank you very much Beryl

@elisasaeter Thank you very much Elisabeth

@bailey Thank you very much Julie
