BACK LIT WHITE

These Buddleja bushes are well named the Butterfly Bush, this year they are proving a real gathering point for large numbers of various kinds of Butterflies. This one is a Large White ( Pieris brassicae ), you might guess from his Latin name that like the Small White from the other day, the caterpillars also love to eat cabbage. Look closely and you can see him enjoying the nectar, I think that will taste nicer than cabbage.
