Say hello to Bumble, I don't normally name any of my bikes but I have made an exception with this one. Bumble has been fed, watered, loaded and is raring to go off on some more adventures. Starting at 5.20 AM Monday morning he will. We are heading to Warrington to get the 6.15 train to head North, and we are due to arrive back in Warrington on Friday evening at 11.00 pm. However that could be in doubt, as before then we have a very busy schedule. Four trains, five days, six islands (most visited more than once), at least thirteen ferries, and thirteen different ports, ( again several visited more than once ). If all this falls into place as planned, I will be surprised to put it mildly. I think I might find a bit of time to get a few photos along the way but won't be able to post them till Saturday at the earliest, maybe later if I have to ride all the way home if it does not go as planned.
@hettie Thank you very much Hettie, I did not follow "the bike lady " but thanks to you I do now.
@darylo Thank you Daryl, I bought him last year with the idea that I would use him to tour the Scottish Highlands and Islands but he has turned out to be very useful for many other things too.
Decked out! Did Bumble (and you) have fun???
Glad your Flashback Friday brought you back to this one with the memories attached. I love FF for that very reason. I always wondered why my bike bags were nice and small (I ride a child-sized bike) but now I see they were meant for front wheels! Hope this was a great trip!
