TAKING THE TRAIN TO CHURCH by markp

TAKING THE TRAIN TO CHURCH

Okay, this is for the One Night Stand Challenge, todays theme, Street Photography. I did a bit of research as to what exactly the definition of street photography is and went round in circles. Must have people, does not need people, must be candid, can be staged, must be outdoors, can be indoors, eg bar or tube station. I did not have a lot of time to try and work on an idea I had for this, so this is what you get instead. It is urban, old and modern and a hint of movement. The building is the back of the Runcorn Spiritualist Church, built in 1888, under the arch of the viaduct taking the Mainline West Coastline Railway towards and over the River Mersey. The Virgin train is the London Express heading for Liverpool. I was wondering if the bushes growing on the side and top of the viaduct could be classed as Areas of Urban Regrowth ?
My other album has a visitor to the garden.

lol.. how unusual... reminds me of our last house, husband was studying and need a quiet space, so we built a garden shed inside the garage for extra warmth and electrickity!! lol

I decided that my wren on a nasty garbage can could technically be "street" but went with a lady on a bench waiting for a bus. It's like "abstract photography"--so many descriptions. Thanks for the history on this one!
