I had to go into Liverpool today, and I took my camera to see what I could find. However it was throwing it down, so I dropped off what I gone in with, and came home. So we are back to the birds in the garden again. First this Robin, unsuccessfully trying to hide away from me.
The robin in my garden this year also seems reluctant to appear for its photo, quite unlike them. I have been looking at all your bird shots on the feeders etc, they are so sharp and close. Are you fairly close or is it the lens you use?
@jennywren Thank you Jen, I think it is a bit of both, I am fairly close and some of the birds get use to me sitting or standing in the garden, and once a few start feeding then the others think its safe and move in too. I have a nice Sony 55-300 zoom and also the camera has a very neat built in electronic teleconverter which effectively doubles the focal length , that comes in very handy sometimes.
