SCRUFF by markp

SCRUFF

I have been tidying around in the garden, one of the jobs I did was to build the birds a new water feature and bird bath. I do this most winters, and the idea is to give them a supply of water which does not freeze and also positioned so as to give me a chance of photographing them splashing around in it.

Looks like I might have been wasting my time. As I finished and sat down with camera for a few minutes, this very scruffy looking House Sparrow flew into the garden and sat in the bush directly above the bird bath. He might have looked scruffy but he was very clean. He was soaking wet and must have had a very through bath, the only thing he had not used my new bird bath. There must be somewhere nearby that they can use.

Thank you all very much for taking the time to view and for leaving all your wonderful comments and Favs.

Lovely shot, he looks as wet as the kookaburra I posted a few weeks ago. He is going to look so good when he dries.
