@dh Thank you, Delena, It's Moore Nature Reserve, just outside Runcorn. Easiest way for you with all the chaos in Runcorn is probably A56 through Preston Brook, past the Daresbury Hotel and straight through the next lights. At the next lights, just over the bridge before Walton Arms, turn left, follow road till you see the sign and turn right, ( just before Post Office if you know it). Follow the road down over the swing bridge over the canal and main car park is just on your right.
If you have not been there before I think you will be surprised at just how big it is.
