EXOTIC GARDEN VISITOR

Returning from Scotland I went into the garden to see if any new bulbs had flowered. I could hear a bird calling but did not recognise it. After a bit of searching I found this high up in a Willow tree. It is a Peach Faced Love Bird, turns out it has managed to escape from a neighbours aviary.
Wow! Beautiful - wonderful color and detail.

Lovely colours. Doesn't exactly look like a native bird in your area.

Pretty bird... did your neighbour manage to coax it back into the aviary?

@gardencat Thanks Joanne, I think they originate from Africa.

@vignouse Thanks Richard, I don't think so, we were both putting food and water out for it but I never saw it come down to it.
If it had been coming down to feed, I could probably have trapped it, but I needed it down out of the trees.
