Over the last few weeks I have several very brief and unclear glimpses of a bird which I suspected was one of these. Finally yesterday I spotted her on a feeder in the garden and stood and watched her for about five minutes.
Without a camera !
I went inside got a camera and spent about an hour waiting for her to come back without any success.
I had a bit better luck today. She is a Blackcap, the males cap is black, hence the name.
Next challenge is to try and get a nice shot off the feeder, which might be difficult as she's very alert and quite timid.
