One of a pair in the garden, pretty sure this is the male. Notoriously difficult to sex, at the moment though, with spring courtship in full flow, it is possible to tell Mr & Mrs apart by their behaviour.
With much chest puffing up, this one is much more macho. I have even seen him feeding his bride, as though she was a young chick.
