I've been trying for ages to get a nice shot of the Greenfinches, drinking or bathing. Finally, this one arrived in front of the camera.I got this shot, then he was really co-operative, he moved a lot closer and much lower, right next to the water.
He stayed there for about 3 or 4 minutes.
So of course I have a load of wonderful shots of him, don't I ?
NO ! As he moved, three baby sparrows flew in and landed exactly in my cameras line of view !
They stayed there, squabbling and wing flapping, totally blocking my shots.
As the Greenfinch left, so did they !
