It's not just Eskimos that rub noses when they meet, Puffin's do too ! Whenever one returns to the nest, or a few meet together there is much gentle beak rubbing together. Sometimes with a very low growling sound.
Another great shot! The noise they make is so funny, sometimes you hear it when you can't see any puffins but then realise you're standing right outside their burrow!
