GOLDCREST III by markp

GOLDCREST III

Finally this is a more natural view of a Goldcrest as he flits around through the leaves and branches of a Holly bush, digging around looking for little spiders and insects from the underside of the leaves. This is one reason why it can be so difficult to photograph them, not that they are shy. In fact you can get really close to them sometimes but there is always something blocking your shot.
The Holly leaf gives you a sense of how small they are.
