Even though the tide had dropped away at least a couple of hours before, there was still a very steady flow of water off the rocks between the islands. As well as the black and green seaweed, there is also some kind of strange looking brown crusty tubes, very tightly packed together. I am guessing some kind of Tube Worm was hiding down at the bottom of the tubes.
