BEAUTY AND BEAST

Here is a bit of a contrast, I think first this is beautiful Wild Angelica flowers, and resting upon them a bristly looking Tachina fera.
Tachina fera is a parasitoid, its larvae develop inside other insects, sounds rather beastly.
